End any debate over who the greatest Xbox Madden 10 player is, after you play Xbox games online for money.

Before there was Xbox Madden 10, there was Xbox Madden 09, which wasn't exactly going to be easy to top. It happens - it always happens when you've got the final word in football video games like the Madden franchise releasing the newest chapter in the series. The question lingers for everyone who's ever picked up a game controller: can the sequel surpass the original? The sports video game world has a consistent winner with the Madden series, and Xbox Madden 10 is taking the franchise in the right direction. While some would just do the minimum expected of them, after a success like Madden 09, EA Sports still strived to give gamers something incredible. The first new feature that's got the video game world buzzing is Xbox Madden 10's new Pro-Tak animation technology - with this, gamers are granted additional control over the outcome of each play. Players can fight for the fumble, their tackles are steerable, they can have 9-man gang tackling, and their quarterback can shift around the pocket. Another huge stride for the Madden series.

Fluid, lifelike graphics aren't the only Xbox Madden 10 upgrade. With the new "cinematic" camera style and broadcast-style presentation, the NFL experience has been perfectly adapted to the football video game. The authenticity levels just went up as well -- referees yank the players from fumble piles, all-new player equipment is available, and there's more accurate, authentic kicking and throwing styles. Since Xbox Madden 10 has an amped up player momentum, the athletes have more accurate turn rates and acceleration. New to the playbooks of Xbox Madden 10 gamers is the always effective wildcat offense. As we've seen before, EA Sports has struck football video gaming gold with their latest Madden entry. One added facet that makes Xbox Madden 10 stand out is the electrifying, hard-hitting soundtrack. Recently, soundtracks have made themselves a crucial ingredient to sports video games, with Madden being one of the strongest examples of this. There's no way you won't be knocked on your ass by the Xbox Madden 10 soundtrack - they've selected some mind-blowingly awesome music. Take a look at the track listing, and then say that you don't care for the Xbox Madden 10 soundtrack: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

Major Playoffs, Larger Payoffs at Xbox Madden 10

If you're still unsure about Xbox Madden 10, then you need a trip through the football video game timeline, back to the beginning, to change your mind. Yeah, it could be a bit cruel to constantly bag on older games as a means to elevate today's football video games. But it helps to see how much progress has been made in football video games, by taking a glance at the earliest video games and comparing them to Xbox Madden 10. Certainly, there was a huge, untapped market for football video games, when the first generation of console games made their debut. Only problem was, the gamers' ideas on what a great football video game should be, versus the reality of the video game consoles' capabilities, made for a shaky compromise. The buzzword for this one was "all the excitement" of the real thing, as the game publishers tried to sell their captive audience on this one. The players themselves have closer resemblance to space aliens than members of a football team. Rough, but true. The photo may be underwhelming, but the game itself is even more so. Characters started flashing and blinking, thanks to the limited memory of the early game consoles and cartridges. Audio was as awful as the video. Another disappointment - the screen didn't (or just couldn't) scroll. Soon, the first round of the console wars would begin, and the competition created a football video game of their own. It had made the necessary innovations to make sports video games some serious business - the characters were animated better, without the same graphical setbacks, and this time, there was a scrolling screen, a necessity for football video games. However, it was still a bit primitive.

While it did tantalize the video game world with its improvements, it was still only a slight move in the right direction. It would take a few more years before anything like that took place. The next level in football video games had been reached, and still we're seeing a following for this one. Over the years, this was the yardstick by which all football video games were measured. Can't argue with the fact that the hardcore gamers did take to this one - for the first time, the NFL got the red-carpet treatment from a football video game. With the improvements in both the sound and the graphics, gamers saw this as the first and last word in video football games. Today, there's even a new incarnation of the game, and with that is a renewed reverence for it. However, it doesn't even come close to what Xbox Madden 10 offers. It's always great to see how far we, and football video games, have come. So, yeah, no point in calling out the old football games. We think you understand. You have to start somewhere, and those other games did - and Xbox Madden 10 would have never been possible if it weren't for those older football video games. Xbox Madden 10 is the future of football video games, and the video game community is psyched that the future is looking so bright. The reviewers have spoken, and they're as stoked as the gamers, which is always a cause for celebration. "Realistic and enjoyable" are comments you'll see during most Xbox Madden 10 reviews. EA Sports didn't even come close to fumbling the ball with Xbox Madden 10, that's for sure. To hell with the people who bag on Xbox Madden 10 - it truly is the best football video game out there. As great as Xbox sports video games offerings are, Xbox Madden 10 is at the top of the pack. Most of the gaming world agrees that this is the new standard by which the rest shall be judged. More than just a great game, it's a chance to display your video game excellence, when you clash for cash. It's a great time to be an Xbox Madden 10 expert - now you can slug it out for some real money. Once you've reached your apex of acumen, you'll be the one scoring big - and filling up your wallet in the process.
